Update from Thursday in Blissfield

Thursday in Blissfield -
* Post 46 tied Whitehouse (OH) Post 384 1-1.  Both teams scored in the 2nd and after a 1 hour rain delay
with 2 out in the bottom of the 7th the decision was made to end the game as a tie with the hope of getting
the rest of the days schedule in.  Both teams are awarded a win for pool play.
Phil Matte (Taylor Truman/Finlandia) pitched a strong game with 1 unearned run for Post 46.  Whitehouse's pitcher - Mason Mayberry (Bowling Green/12) also pitched well.

*9am at Nicloay Field (Adrian College) - Hudson Post 180 defeated Allen Park Post 409/Lincoln Park Rails 10-1  (mercy rule is 8 runs after 5 innings).  Winning pitcher was Caleb Gulledge (Parma Western) and losing pitcher was Ben Sniezak (Dearborn Hts Crestwood/12).
*11:15am at Nicloay Field (Adrian College) -Adrian Post 275 defeated Hudson Post 180 3-2 - that is all

*11:30am at Blissfield JV - when the rains came East Lansing Post 205 was up 8-2 over Fremont (OH) Post 121 in the 4th inning;

Friday - you're on your own - Jim is heading to Battle Creek to see if Bedford can defeat Sterling Hts Stevenson and advance to the Division 1 state championship.
